(Static Station) is a Chicago based collectively run record label and media outlet.

Started in the bedroom of Patrick Scott's Chicago apartment in 1997 as a means to make music of his and his friends available, (Static Station) was born into the vibrant mid/late 90's chicago DIY/punk/indie scene. He put out a handful of records by bands that were great, and then decided to move around North America for a few years.

Fast forward to the summer of 2007 and the label is back into commision. (Static Station) is now Theo Katsaounis, Tim O'Donnell, Hank Henry, Shelly Steffens, Donny Mahlmeister, Jared Sheldon, and Patrick Scott. We're a label that is run by the bands on it, we are a home for creative music and art as long as it is sincere, and interesting. The future is wide open, and we've got a bunch of ideas...just wait.
